Fran has been praised again for her performance as Petra by the Financial Times.

It is not all plain sailing with the cast, where some sing better than they can act and vice versa, highlighted here by Nicholas Garrett's Carl-Magnus and Deanne Meek's Charlotte, who can do both, magnificently. Francesca Jackson belts out a barnstorming performance as Petra the maid and David Curry copes well with Henrik's pole-vaulting tessitura.
